Designed and developed the unique branding for the 2013 Arts Centre Melbourne season of The Famous Spiegeltent. Drawing on elements of the vaudevillian nature of the shows playing in the season, the brand was developed with a vintage aesthetic to reflect all the acts held within the tent.
The challenge was then to create unique identities for all 70+ shows, which could all sit within the core brand, and be used together but the design had to be flexible enough to be adapted into a full press campaign which highlighted acts on that week. As part of the campaign extensive online and outdoor artwork was developed.
A fold out brochure/ poster (distributed as an insert in the Age newspaper as well as in hundreds of Melbourne businesses) formed an integral part of the Spiegeltent campaign. The resulting piece was visually pleasing yet functional- a little like the Speigeltent herself!
